Nearly 6 years have passed since my journey to Spiti, yet the memories remain as vivid as ever. It was an experience unlike any other, a once in a lifetime adventure. On August 19th, I received a phone call from Lalit Sir, inviting me to join him and his team on a photography tour to Spiti. I eagerly accepted the invitation, as Lalit Sir had been my photography instructor and I had previously joined him on a Ladakh tour, which I didn't want to miss out on another opportunity to explore Spiti.

On September 23rd, we all met at the Delhi station and then took a bus to Shimla. We spent a day in Shimla, exploring the streets and capturing moments through our lenses. The next day, we set off on our journey to Spiti, with our first destination being the Kinnaur Valley. The road was raw and rugged, but the scenery was breathtaking. We took lots of photos along the way and received invaluable guidance from Lalit Sir. In Kinnaur, we had a photography session in the evening, capturing the beauty of the Kailas Kinnaur and the galaxy at night.

After leaving Kinnaur, we journeyed to Tabo, taking the scenic route through Sangla and Reckong Peo. The next day, we explored the stunning Dhankar Valley and made our way to Kaza via the picturesque Pin Valley. From Kaza, we visited the villages of Hikkim, Komic, and Langza.

Our next stop was the camp site at Chandratal Lake, one of the most beautiful sights I've ever seen. This was also where I faced my first experience with low oxygen levels, but Lalit Sir and his team were there to take care of me. Lalit Sir even carried my baggage on his shoulder when I struggled to walk, showing true compassion and dedication.

From Chandratal, we headed to Manali, where our tour came to an end. This was not just an ordinary sightseeing tour. The timing, selection of destinations, team dynamics, and overall planning were all exceptional. I want to give a shout-out to the entire team who kept our spirits high, even at high altitudes. In Manali, Lalit Sir and I had a long chat, where I learned more about his passion for nature and his dream of exploring India.

In conclusion, I highly recommend Lalit Sir and his team for photography tours. If you're looking to explore off-the-beaten-path destinations, he is the man for the job. To this day, I'm still waiting for his call, eager for another adventure. Gyan Chalega Kya! This truly was a once in a lifetime experience that I will cherish forever.

Have known Lalit Sir for so many years now. Always wanted to do a photo tour like this with him. Spiti Photo Tour with Impressions was very very memorable. Experiencing those beautiful landscapes and photo opportunities with a like minded team was so very enriching. Sarang & Lalit Sir planned and executed the tour to perfection. Now looking forward to the Zanskar photo tour with the team.

Lalit sir is an extremely talented teacher for photography, he has great scientific knowledge of light and how to capture it. I found his post processing workshop extremely helpful for editing the photos. I have also done a spiti photography tour with Impressions photography. It was an extremely amazing experience. We spent around 10 days in himachal pradesh, where I learned many new things about photography. Learned to shoot galaxy too.
