Olympics

From the glaciated high mountains to the infinite ocean, from dense mossy rainforests to bouncing whitewater creeks, from meadows with endless vibrant wildflowers to the free-roaming wildlife, The Olympics has a blessing from the rain god, that makes this place one of the lushest green, prettiest places on the planet.

This photography workshop not only gives you an opportunity to explore this incredibly beautiful place but will also inspire you to take pictures, in the best possible conditions and lighting at every location. The blessing of tain also means a certain uncertainty about the weather. While for some this may be a hindrance, I want to help you to bring this uncertainty into your favor. We will stay in one convenient location near the park, but will also keep our schedule flexible to adjust to the weather. I will encourage or teach you to bring the dynamism of light or rain into your images, making them some of the most lively landscapes that you would ever create!

Enjoy these images and then read in the section below what different kinds of photography or conditions we will photograph in this vast park.

  1. Photograph the picturesque olympics ocean beaches with majestic sea stacks, especially during sunrise and sunsets

  2. Capture the sunrise with endless ridges of the Olympic mountains

  3. Capture the dense Hoh and Quinault rainforests

  4. Explore numerous creeks and waterfalls and enjoy long explore photography

  5. Learn to capture original intimate scenes or abstract images of the forest, waterfalls, and also from the shore.
